1. Why did you take this class?
I had an interest in animation?Video at the time and herd about the class and came in to see how everything worked and liked it from the start!
2. In general, what did you like most about this class?
The way it worked, because it was mainly hands on and not all theory and notes, you actually are the project.
3. In general, what did you like least about this class?
Some dead lines i felt were too short to handle when completing a project.
4. What was your most favorite project and why?
The independent study, because you could basically do whatever you wanted in the amount of time given.
5. What was your least favorite project and why?
Kinetic Type, I'm personally not a fan of Adobe After Effects, I found it hard to learn and comprehend at points.
6. Discuss the overall effectiveness of the instructor (for example: preparation, availability, interest, content knowledge, expectations, etc.).
Ms. Licata is an excellent teacher, her over all content knowledge was very helpful, always available, her expectations are a little strict though.
7. What are the most valuable things you learned in the class?
People skills and communication, I've lacked good communication with partners before this class. Now i have the skills necessary to better communicate with others.
8. Do you feel that this class will help you achieve your future academic or career goals? How or why (or why not)?
Yes, this class has also taught me to be ambitious, which will help me in achieving my future goals and not faltering.
9. How could this class be improved?
I would say less projects so there can be longer deadlines for people to have more time to finish their projects.
10. Additional comments:
People will have the time of their lives here!

this week
This week has been stressful. I've learned how to create fade ins and outs for audio in adobe premiere. i liked that we got to critique both our PSA projects and our class competitions. i did not like that i waited to the last minute for a lot of my projects. i want to learn how to manage my time better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZ_JOBCLF-I enjoy this link about the new stop motion blockbuster of the lego movie

The End
After reading the article "End of film: Paramount first studio to stop distributing film prints", i've learned that now films can be made completely digitely and no longer require film. I have also learned that theaters are building satilite systems to digitaly upload movies which could significantly lower the cost move delivery at the theaters, which could significantly lower the over all cost of items at the movies. The first all digital movie is going to be "The Wolf of WallStreet". The article was very well written. I didn't like the fact that there were no visual representation for the audience. Could this be the end of film?
this week
This week has been rather terrible to be honest but anyways i learned much about lighting, such as fill lighting and so on. one thing i liked was that i got to film with paul, austin, and cameron in the commons. One thing i didn't like was the fact i had to film in the freezing weather. One thing i'd like to learn in the future is how editors and such add both live action film and 2-D or even 3-D animation in one finished product. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1tRgTIFrtk This is a link about how to create fire as a special effect.
