moores law
in the article concering Gordon moore and his laws on animation helped pixar create their first ever computer animate film. which is named Toy Story. Moores law states that everything good about computers gets an order of magnitude better every five years. which means that every five years there will be something better for the computer whether its new software or an update concerning a certain field of the computer. Pixar used this law to predict the creation of toy story. I like that they had moores law stated i the article and how the author wrote the article itself. If pixar can use moores law for predictions, then do studios today still use this law today?
mini bots
in the article concerning mini robots from MIT to interview some New yorkers at a upcoming film festival. Each robot has a built in camera to film what ever interview they are creating. Also each robot is voiced by and eleven year old boy and is programed with a series of questions to ask the people they're interviewing. I like the fact the added a short video in the beginning of the article so we can see first hand at what these robots do. I also like that they have many photos of the robots and their creators. i wonder what the next robotic invetion will be?
